Pumpkin Patch

Friends, a beautiful fall day, hay slides, tractor rides, goats to pet, a "sand"box full of feed corn, and of course pumpkins....I suppose the pictures speak for themselves!

Playing Catch-Up

Figured I should post some pictures at least, since I haven't gotten around to blogging lately, and I'll have BIRTHDAY pictures to put up in less than one week!!

My boys on the back porch. The one place Will likes to just sit still!

Wrestling match!

Will is big enough to enjoy the donut shop on Saturdays like the rest of us!

Tossing the cheerios is even more fun than eating them, apparently.

We spent 2 days in Lake City and enjoyed family and God's creation!

We drove a half hour up to "Capitol City" - a location miners once thought would be the capitol of Colorado, but now is less than a ghost town! Just a fantastic place to observe some of the beauty God has created! I'm sure glad it didn't become some booming metropolis. :D
My dad grew up camping here almost every year, so that makes it extra special.

My parents' patio - GORGEOUS! My dad is an amazing builder/landscaper!

A walk to the park after ice cream at the Soda Fountain I worked at for many (8?) summers!

Eleanor loved visiting my mom's classroom of kindergarten and 1st-graders!

Crepes!

When Todd and I were in Paris several years ago, we developed an obsession with crepes. Dinner crepes, dessert crepes, whatever. So last night when we found a recipe for "Parisian Street Vendor Crepes", we got right to work in our kitchen! Vive les Crepes! *grin*

Miscellaneous Photos

I love this one. Precarious, but they both made it down the slide safe and happy!

Sharing cheerios with Daddy - a happy morning ritual!

Look at my boy! Only a few weeks until his first birthday!

Budding Comedian

Eleanor told her first joke at dinner last night.

We have a book we read to William that has phrases like this one: "That's not my train, it's funnel is too rusty!" That must have triggered Eleanor's imagination and inspired the following knee-slapper!

"That's not my apples, it's banana is too rough!!!"

We all had a great laugh!

* By the way, Eleanor is very into fruit. When I asked her what we should get Todd for his birthday last weekend, she replied "a banana!" When Uncle Andrew was here and went to his car to retrieve something, she guessed he was bringing back....blueberries! When our friends had their new baby and were undecided on a name, Eleanor offered her suggestion - Banana Applesauce! (I think maybe she knew she was being a little silly with that last one!)
