My brother, Andrew Meredith, graduated from high school this past Saturday. I felt a little old! I was teary through the whole ceremony, partly because my little brother was the one up
there graduating, partly becuase I love my hometown. Andy was the sole graduate this year in Lake City (as valedictorian, he gave the commencement address - very well done!), but that definitely didn't make the celebration any smaller or less significant. The town turned out! The Lake City band played! and played! He was the highlight of the town's weekly news- paper! It was really, really special. Todd and I agreed it was our most favorite graduation yet. We had a great party on my parents' beautiful patio afterwards. Yea, Andy! Yea, Lake City!
