Crepes!
When Todd and I were in Paris several years ago, we developed an obsession with crepes. Dinner crepes, dessert crepes, whatever. So last night when we found a recipe for "Parisian Street Vendor Crepes", we got right to work in our kitchen! Vive les Crepes! *grin*

Budding Comedian
Eleanor told her first joke at dinner last night.
We have a book we read to William that has phrases like this one: "That's not my train, it's funnel is too rusty!" That must have triggered Eleanor's imagination and inspired the following knee-slapper!
"That's not my apples, it's banana is too rough!!!"
We all had a great laugh!
* By the way, Eleanor is very into fruit. When I asked her what we should get Todd for his birthday last weekend, she replied "a banana!" When Uncle Andrew was here and went to his car to retrieve something, she guessed he was bringing back....blueberries! When our friends had their new baby and were undecided on a name, Eleanor offered her suggestion - Banana Applesauce! (I think maybe she knew she was being a little silly with that last one!)

Celebrating Todd's Birthday
I made eggs benedict for breakfast, we went to a park, shopped around at Best Buy and Men's Wearhouse, visited a new baby in the hospital, and then Todd and I even got to go on a dinner date! We saved the hot fudge ice cream cake for the next day when my parents and sister were in town, and celebrated my mom's birthday as well.
